Know the scope before you choose

What the work covers

Exposure of a sewer or drain line, cleanout access, targeted excavation, and qualifying repair or replacement.

Access and preparation

Location, depth, surface materials, equipment access, and surrounding structures affect the plan. PSI can locate before IDC exposes.

Limits and separate work

A locating service is not excavation. We distinguish the access work from repair, backfill, disposal, and surface restoration in the quote.

What you receive

You receive an explanation of the exposed condition and agreed work, with restoration responsibilities and changes documented.

Price and approval

Quoted for the agreed service, access, footage, and method before work begins.

We confirm the specific work before starting. Additional time or a different method needs your approval; overlapping service descriptions are not automatically separate charges.

Already have a report?

Tell us the provider, report date, or job reference. Findings from PSI or another company may help define the work. We explain if missing footage or changed conditions require a new inspection; you do not automatically need to pay for the same investigation again.
